MPG calculation -

You don't specify in your user manual (which is very nice, BTW), but the only options for fuel economy calculations are metric and imperial.  By this I guess you are using the imperial gallon for fuel consumption.  Would it be possible to get MPG calculated in US gallons as well?

The gallon used in "imperial" set is actually US gallon. So the MPG value is a traditional US MPG value.

We'll probably have to add a separate UK gallon unit and measurements.

Sounds good to me.  Thanks for the information.
